Rationale for Rating:

Mentor Pro is unable to be rated due to lack of published research. Mentor Pro application has only one published research study evaluating the actual program/application. Of over 6700 students with access, 3101 completed at least one survey and only 19 students completed all 4 study surveys. Though there were slight statistical improvements in university connection, belief in personal success and moderate statistical improvement in ability to reach out for support, the effects were minimal. Students who completed more check-ins also earned higher(GPA) grades but that could be due to intrinsic motivation as number of messages sent on the app. and referrals for support did not correlate with higher GPA. Recommend additional research on the actual application and program.
